So here is a bit about me ~

I am a supa dupa proud Mum of two, Mini Funky (11) and Baby Funky(9) I'm an introvert, creative minded, free spirit who LOVES the great outdoors. 

Plus I am TOTALLY HORSE MAD.  

A lover of animals, art, illustration, doodling, poetry, photography, writing.  blogging, And music.

I LOVE writing humourous and TOTALLY FUNKY stories through the eyes of my Illustrated characters known as the 

FUNKY GEEGEE'S

CARTOONING and the FUNKY side of ME ~

     

EQUIPMENT I LOVE

For nearly everything I use System 3 Acrylics and Heavy body. I also love Liquitex and reeves. 

Good quality and value for money.

Other equipment i use is Millions of pencils that continue to leave me to go on their jolly holidays somewhere unknown !! I spend half my life either sharpening them . . .Or looking for them!

For my watercolour and ink drawings I like Derwent watercolour pencils, They blend well and layer nicely, I also like Reeves watercolour pencils, they are soft and blend and layer nicelly. I use Winsor and newton watercolour paint for their ease of use and lovely colours that blend well together.

My palette is a plate or old takeaway lid with baking paper on top, failing that some tin foil or a sandwich bag, whatever i find in the kitchen drawer! My paintbrush dryer/dabber is an old t-shirt from my sons closet.

 My favourite pen is the Posca paint marker, it is the only pen i find can hold up on canvas, for my watercolour pencil drawings i also use Uniball Eye (fine) which i like as it is available in our local supermarket so as soon as it runs out i can run and get one!!

My Studio? Well that's a top class 360 degree panoramic windowed , top floor space in a barn conversion nestled deep in the country. It looks over many paddocks of perfectly plump ponies playing and grazing peacefully next to an apple orchard . . .

 . . . . Dreams, Dreams, REALISTICALLY?

It's my kitchen table, yep that's where all the magic happens. I live close to the country but not quite close enough, I spend my time looking out onto the garden, listening to my favourite tunes on my headphones and drifting away into my cartoon world, Imagining the view i could have maybe one day  . . .

 . . . One day, maybe one day,
 I will overlook paddocks 
of perfectly plump ponies !!

Until then I shall drift away with my music and IMAGINE whilst I doodle my FUNKY CREATIONS!!
